Meatballs
My kids LOVE these meatballs they are sure to be a family favorite.
My kid's favorite meatballs

I love to top these meatballs with some ricotta cheese, a little parmesan, and lemon zest for brightness!
Ingredients
- 1 lb ground chuck (80/20)
- 1lb ground sweet italian sausage
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp dried italian seasoning
- 2 eggs
- 1/3 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup ricotta cheese
- 1/2 cup minced yellow onion (about 1/2 a medium onion)
- 1 cup seasoned bread crumbs
- 1/2 cup whole milk
- Your favorite tomato sauce for simmering and serving!
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees, line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl combine beef, sausage, seasonings, eggs, parmesan, ricotta, onion, breadcrumbs, and milk. Using your hands, mix until well combined.
- Form your meat mixture into about 2 tbsp sized balls, this recipe makes 35 meatballs OR 18 large meatballs if thats what you prefer.
- Place your meatballs onto your parchment lined baking sheet in even rows.
- Remove your meatballs from the oven and place into a pot or a slow cooker filled with your favorite sauce.
- Serve over pasta or on their own.
